Our Story: From a small site to the global reference 🌍 for sending anonymous SMS

Here Antoine 👋, founder of the site Anonymous SMS.

If you are here, it’s likely that you came for the same reason I did back then: to send a message online on the web, in a completely anonymous manner.

And I faced the same obstacles as you… Impossible to find a reliable solution ❌.

I just wanted to send a discreet text, without revealing my personal number. But I confronted the harsh reality: no product offered such a thing properly.

So I set out on a mission to meet this need, so that once again, we could express ourselves discreetly without it being an obstacle course.

🤔 The observation: How to find a reliable solution?

At that time, I remember going through the existing solutions on the internet and I was very disappointed…

There were only sites with dubious interfaces, filled with ads, scams, and worst of all, the little trust they inspired in me. For them, privacy didn’t seem to be an important issue.

All of these sites were (and still are) unstable, even the messages didn't arrive... 📉 I couldn’t imagine trusting them with a important message, no way!

There was a lack of a serious, clean, and professional anonymous SMS service on the market.

💻 The solution from a passionate developer

By chance, being a developer and having a lot of free time at that moment, I thought: “What if I could solve the problem?” 💡

If the ideal solution didn’t exist, I had to create it. I decided to take on the challenge with a clear mission: to develop the platform I would have liked to find that day.

A web SMS platform that is secure, discreet, respectful of privacy and technically flawless.

⏳ Two years of research and development

When I started, I naively thought it would be a project of a few weeks, but it turned into a two-year technical odyssey! Creating a reliable anonymous SMS sending system proved to be a complex challenge. I had to:

🔐 Secure the encryption protocols to ensure total anonymity for our users.
📡 Negotiate with global telecom operators to ensure maximum message deliverability.
⚡ Optimize the interface to make it as simple and fast as possible to use.

Two whole years of hard work, countless litres of coffee, and countless nights spent debugging were needed to finally achieve a reliable and robust solution.

🌐 Today: A team and a product present in 64 countries

Today, I am no longer alone; I am surrounded by a fantastic team 🤝 that works daily to make our product as useful as possible for you, dear users.

Together, this year 2025, we worked to make the service available internationally by deploying it in over 64 countries!
